Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a concrete driveway cost in Seattle?
Costs vary based on size, site conditions, and finish type. A typical residential driveway ranges from $8-$15 per square foot. We provide free estimates with a detailed written quote after walking the site.
How long does concrete take to cure?
Concrete reaches initial set within 24-48 hours, but full curing takes about 28 days. You can typically walk on new concrete after 24 hours and drive on a new driveway after 7 days.
Do you remove old concrete?
Yes. We handle full demolition, haul-away, and disposal so your site is ready for new work. Demo is included in our project quotes.
Do I need a permit for concrete work?
Most residential concrete work (driveways, patios, walkways) doesn't require a permit. Retaining walls over 4 feet typically do. We'll let you know during the estimate if permits are needed and handle the coordination.
What areas do you serve?
We serve all Seattle and Seattle-adjacent neighborhoods including West Seattle, Burien, White Center, Beacon Hill, Georgetown, Delridge, Admiral, Alki, Ballard, Fremont, Queen Anne, Capitol Hill, Central District, Wallingford, Greenwood, Columbia City, and more.
What finishes are available?
We offer broom finish (standard, slip-resistant), smooth trowel finish, exposed aggregate, and stamped/decorative concrete. We'll help you choose the best option for your project.
How soon can you get started?
We typically respond to estimate requests within 24 hours and are available to start most projects within 2 weeks. Timelines can vary depending on the season and project scope, but we'll give you a clear start date up front.
Can you pour concrete in the rain or during winter?
Yes. We work year-round in Seattle. 90% of a concrete project is prep work that can happen in any weather. For the actual pour, we build temporary tent structures to keep rain off the concrete. In cold snaps, insulated blankets protect the cure. Winter is actually a great time to book because our schedule is more flexible and we can start sooner. Learn more about our all-weather process.
